Just steps to Belmont Shore’s famous Long Beach, this cozy Southern California beach Bungalow is located in the bustling beach city of Belmont Shore, exclusive and affluent. “The Shore” as we locals call it, is a college type beach town equipped with restaurants bars and entertaining night life. Enjoy summer mornings on the sand, or a cup of French press coffee on the blustery beach in the winter time.
The space
This cozy Beach House is situated between the famous Second Street which has restaurants galore and shopping for the fashionable, and the beach where you can stroll on the sand over looking the Queen Mary or sunbathe in sunny Southern California. Take a bike ride along the bike path viewing downtown Long Beach’s beautiful skyline. Or get a bite to eat in Shoreline Village.

Guests have exclusive private front yard and privacy inside the whole house.
Regarding rules and amenities and previous complaints:
While the amenities are clearly listed on this site, some guests have not thoroughly read them and are “surprised“ when they arrive so the guests feel compelled to complain about their misperceptions.
This is Owner’s primary residence. That means you’ll have “only” half of a closet to hang your clothes for a short stay. Owners’ closet is private space.
Also we don’t advertise a coffee maker so don’t ask for one. There’s a French press but bring your own brew.
We don’t advertise a television, and we don’t provide cable, so don’t be surprised that “all” you get is Netflix and Amazon Prime. You can use the WiFi to stream your own shows.
Laundry facilities, backyard, garage, and parking are reserved for owner. Please don’t ask.
This is not a hotel, it’s a get away resort stay in a beach city town, and there are “rules” posted around the house for a safe stay at this 100 year old beach home. For example, we ask that feminine hygiene products are not flushed and that beach sand does not go down the drains. If you don’t like our rules or “lack of amenities,” then please book somewhere else. Thanks.
Other things to note
Bring flip-flops and suntan lotion. Southern California beach living is very casual so you can add can just stroll two blocks up to second Street and have dinner without ever needing a car. Bring a sweater or blanket for the beach at night however because it gets chilly if you decide to walk the two blocks the other way down to the shore to watch the sunset and twinkling lights of the Queen Mary.

Potential for noise — Beach city living means that there are pedestrians walking by because of the nightlife on 2nd St. However this house is nestled and usually quiet. Must climb stairs — Beach house is on raised foundation with three steps.Some spaces are shared — Mailbox and front porch delivered packages. Sealed off laundry room is used during business hours by the cleaning crew and host. Do not open owners closet or you will be fined by the city because they dispatch the police when the alarm? is tripped. Fines are $112.
